Her death draws eerie similarities to the 2001 Naomi Watts horror movie The Shaft! Where an evil elevator was picking off occupants of a corporate building.

Doubt the elevator was possessed or anything. Just a tragic accident. "The Shaft" sucked by the way.

No similarities here that I can see. Bad elevator accidents happen all the time. I'm just glad the trend of elevator jumping has died down considerably compared to when I was a kid.
I think i have seen this movie but not able to remind the name of that movie. Nice story.
