Surprised this never came up even when this show was still around. But why didn't anyone ever think of making a "Masters Of Horror" movie? Like the ultimate anthology horror film? It would've been so cool.

I remember reading how hard it was to pull together so much big directing talent just for the Masters Of Horror episodes which were about 45 minutes long. A feature film clocking about 90 to 100 minutes. Plus the studios mits being all over everything, you're talking about a lot to get a Masters Of Horror movie off the ground.

The movie would've been a better idea then the show. The movie could've become the new hit horror anthology. Like Creepshow or something. Only for our generation. The movie franchise in fact, would be probably on film number 3 by now. Instead, it became Fear Itself. And then it died for good.
They could still make a Masters Of Horror movie. Someone just has to get the ball rolling. But a movie with segments by Wes, George A., etc would be well worth the money.

The problem is, horror-anthologies are always hurting for money. They never get big, theater releases. Always straight to DVD. Getting a "masters of horror" movie off the ground would be a task in itself.
It would be the coolest horror;anthology movie since "Tales From The Darkside"!

It would be awesome if these filmmakers came together one more time to make an actual Masters Of HorroR movie! I'd back in on Kickstarter too! I'd pay to see that made before a Veronica MarS movie.
